2012 Ireland Lacrosse Men’s National Team Announced

Press Release – Ireland Lacrosse

Dublin, Ireland

Ireland Lacrosse announced yesterday their 23 man roster and coaching staff for the 2012 European Championships to be held in Amsterdam, NL in June of this year. With 9 of the 23 man roster spots representing a USA “hometown”, the question that obviously comes up is “what really IS a National Team”? It’s a lengthy debate that has gone in circles for some time now…but seriously…what’s the answer? We want to hear your thoughts on National Team selections. Should there be a cap on “out of country” spots? How far back should the “roots” go in the family tree? Let’s hear what you got.
