Junior Lacrosse continues to grow in Oxford

Since our last post about the Oxlax juniors, the Oxford City Lacrosse Club junior program has continued to grow. We got in touch to find out just how they’re getting on.

28 girls and boys aged 7-15 have picked up a lacrosse stick since Oxlax Juniors was launched in October 2016, most of whom had never played before! Two thirds of these have since converted into full members!

There are 4 more training sessions to get involved with before the end of the season – Mondays 7-8pm – after which, the club will be organising opportunities to play other junior clubs in the South.

The coaches and coordinators at Oxford City Lacrosse Club wish to thank all the young people and parents who have supported the club in its debut junior lax season and hope they will continue to enjoy playing!

Please contact Lizzy at oxfordcitylacrossejuniors@gmail.com if you would like to come down for a free session. All abilities welcome!
